Established in November 1963, Blacker and Kooby Stationers has a half a century old history of serving the Upper East Side of Manhattan with quality paper, exquisite writing instruments and related gift items. Over the years we have sold art supplies, toys, party goods and greeting cards. As a family-run business, with a dedicated staff, we strive to provide helpful advice and efficient service to make the shopping experience a pleasant one.
We have learned over the years that we have a true strength in the area of printed stationery and invitations. Only an experienced staff with knowledge of etiquette and elegant taste can properly write up a social invitation to a formal event, or an order of fine personalized writing paper that reflects its owner. We work one on one with clients to achieve this goal.
Blacker and Kooby combines practicality and clean design to personalized orders. We guide each customer through a process to choose their printed order and have it match his or her specifications, both tangible and abstract.
